Moving to the country, we were looking for a unique home that perfectly fit our setting. We did our research on log and timber frame homes, most of which were being built by companies situated a long ways from central Kansas.

Then we came across an article in the Salina Journal about a timber frame home being built in Salina by Clydesdale Frames from Hutchinson, Kansas It was great to find a local Kansas company that could build our dream.

We met with John and Chris. They were easy to work with, very creative. It really helped that they could provide the architectural services required.

The assembly/erection happened just as promised. Plus they were available to support the rest of the build, including recommending contractors with experience on timber frames. They have provided us with a beautiful unique home that we cherish.

We have since used Clydesdale to construct a Gazebo next to our home. We would gladly recommend working with John and Chris for anyone considering a timber frame home.
